Ijtema from November 28 to 30

Chief secretary reviews preparations

csijtema22.10.15Bhopal, October 22, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa reviewed arrangements for global level Ijtema at its site at village Intkheri near here today. CS sought information about Ijtema to be held from November 28 to 30. He was accompanied by ACS Home Mr. B.P. Singh and DGP Mr. Surendra Sinh. CS directed to repair road to Intkheri and approach road upto the venue. He also directed to widen road to the venue via Islam Nagar (Jagdishpur). CS also sought information about drinking water, electricity, cleanliness, vehicle parking, communication and crowd management arrangements as well as preparations by organising committee. CS sought information about arrangements for all 3 days of Ijtema, specially the day of Dua. Officers of concerning departments and municipal corporation informed about arrangements. They informed that a separate transformer will be installed for adequate electricity supply and 400 water tanks for drinking water arrangements.

A temporary hospital will also be set up for Ijtema. Besides, necessary arrangements will also be made in nearby hospitals. Railway Ministry will set up a special counter to facilitate external devotees. BSNL will set up additional tower to provide better connectivity. Along with traffic police, 3 thousand volunteers will also manage traffic. Facility for to and fro traffic of devotees from railway, bus stand etc will also be available. CS also sought information about arrangements from Bhopal division Commissioner Mr. S.B. Singh and Collector Mr. Nishant Warwade at the venue. Mr. Hafiz Bhai and Mr. Atiq of organising committee were also present.
