Electronic journalism should be based on facts in era of competition

shukl30.10.15Bhopal, October 30, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Public Relations and Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that fact-based electronic journalism needs to be promoted for rapid growth of the state. He urged electronic media for objective journalism with caution in this age of competition. Mr. Shukla addressed prize distribution function of regional news channel ‘Swaraj Express’ here today. The Minister said that it has become possible to get entire state’s news within a short time due to emergence of regional news channels. Mr. Shukla said that remarkable achievements have been made in the state during last 10 years in road, power, irrigation, agriculture and health sectors.

He said that Madhya Pradesh is specially mentioned with development of states is discussed at national level. Mr. Shukla urged electronic media journalists to give maximum coverage to developmental news. Channel Head Mr. S.P. Tripathi informed that the channel has become popular in very short time in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Managing Advisor Mr. Shriram Tiwari, Director Mr. Pankaj Gupta, Mr. K.P. Chawla and Managing Editor Mr. R.P. Shrivastava were also present on the occasion.
