J-K Minister Choudhary Ali visits tribal school and museum

Mr. Singh informs about departmental schemes

chwdry30.10.15Bhopal, October 30, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Jammu-Kashmir’s Consumer Affairs and Tribal Welfare Minister Choudhary Zulfiqar Ali along with SC and ST Welfare Minister Mr. Gyan Singh inspected Gyanodaya School (Residential) at Katara Hills here today. Mr. Singh informed that education from class VI to XII is being imparted in the school, spread over 17 acres. The school where 266 students are studying has a fitness centre, e-library, hostel, mess, sports ground and facilities for lawn tennis, basketball, skating and wi-fi in entire complex. Such 10 schools are being run at division level. Minister Choudhary Ali lauded the facilities given in the school and interacted with students. Choudhary Ali along with Mr. Gyan Singh also inspected Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum.

He watched and praised galleries of dwellings and articles of use by Gond, Baiga, Bhariya, Sahariya, Bhil, Kol and Korku tribals. The Ministers Duo saw Gond dwellings, Lilar Kothi, Baiga dwellings, Gond memorial, tribal arts, Gamrohan, Vivah Mandal, story of or igin of Bhilal tribe, tale of Bana ancesters, Purvajon Ka Lok, Peedi Khoont, Maharani and Marhi Mata, Lohripur’s king, Rajwan Anagan etc. Commissioner Tribal Development Mr. J.L. Malpani was also present.
