Complete training to fair price shop salesmen before March 31

kunwar5.11.15Bhopal, November 5, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):    Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has said that training to government fair price shop’s salesmen should be completed before March 31, 2016. He directed to provide aprons as uniforms and name plates to salesmen compulsorily. The Minister was holding discussions with departmental officers through video-conferencing from Bhopal Collectorate today. It has been decided to impart training to salesmen of government fair price shops to improve targeted public distribution system in the state. The Minister said that commodities seized during action under Madhya Pradesh Essential Commodities Traders (Stock Limit and Prevention of Hoarding) Order-2015 should be disposed of within a week.

The cases of a salesman working in more than one fair shops should be reviewed and proposal for appointment of adequate number salesmen sent to collector. Kunwar Shah directed District Supply Officers for adequate arrangements at shops to facilitate consumers visiting fair price shops. In the state, one crore 16 lakh 77 thousand 755 families are being provided wheat and rice at the rate of Re. one per kg as per eligibility.  After video-conferencing, the Minister inspected public service centre in Bhopal Collectorate. He apprised himself of process for disposal of applications for ration cards at the centre. The Minister direct for easy access of common people for public service centre.
