Special camps to prepare Aadhar Cards of 80 lakh children

Aadhar registration of over 13 lakh children done

Bhopal, November 5, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):   Special camps are being organized to prepared Aadhar Cards of over 80 lakh children of Anganwadi centres in the state. So far, Aadhar Cards of 13 lakh children have been prepared. Aadhar registration of remaining 68 lakh children will be completed by December 31, 2015. Directives have been sent to all District Programme Officers of Integrated Child Development Scheme to ensure preparation of Aadhar Card of every child in the state. Besides, 2 forms have also been sent under which all necessary information about children are being collected. Apart from Anganwadi centres, special camps are also being held in villages, wards, community halls, schools and Gram Panchayats from 9 am to 9 pm. District Programme Officers have been told to do Aadhar registration of parents of a child if they are not covered under the scheme so far and later Aadhar Card of concerning child should be prepared.  It has also been directed to publicise as to which documents should be brought for Aadhar Card. Three officers of State Electronics Development Corporation have been authorized for guidance regarding preparations of Aadhar Cards being prepared at special camps.

Mr. T. Ganesh Kumar has been made in-charge of special camps in Ujjain, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Ratlam, Dewas, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Panna, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli and Harda districts, Mr. Umesh Kumar for Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Sehore, Vidisha, Jabalpur, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Dindori, Katni, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Shahdol, Anuppur and Umaria districts and Mr. Anil Nigam has been made in-charge for Bhind, Sheopur, Morena, Indore, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Khargone, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani, Dhar, Gwalior, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Guna, Shivpuri, Hoshangabad and Betul districts.
