Jharkhand to develop website like MP’s “Anmol”

Study team arrives at Bhopal

Bhopal, November 7, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):   Jharkhand will develop a website on the lines of ‘Anmol’ website of Madhya Pradesh Women and Child Development Department for online, easy and transparent process to adopt children. A high-level team from Jharkhand arrived at Bhopal today to study the website. Commissioner Women’s Empowerment informed Jharkhand’s team about entire process. She said that all children’s homes have been connected to the website. Every detail from children’s coming to children’s homes upto adoption is posted on it. Families adopting children neither face any problem nor have any doubts. Status of adoption can be obtained through the website any time. Head of Jharkhand’s team Mr. P. Morgan described Anmol website as useful and unique initiative for quick rehabilitation of children.

He said that Jharkhand too wishes to develop similar website. Following the meeting, the Jharkhand team also visited chidren’s home Kilkari Udan at Chuna Bhatti here and witnessed practical aspects of online adoption. It is noteworthy that Anmol is the first website on which entire process for adoption of children is posted online. Government of India’s Central Adoption Resources Agency has also developed a website on the lines of Anmol.
