PR Minister Mr. Shukla inaugurates overhead tank
Bhopal, November 11, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Energy and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that Rewa city’s drinking water arrangements will be strengthened further. One overhead tank will be constructed at the rate of a definite population. Mr. Shukla inaugurated an overhead tank of 8 lakh litre capacity costing Rs. 67 lakh 50 thousand at Rewa today. The overhead tank dedicated at Tulsi Nagar will supply drinking water to about 10 thousand population in 10 localities. The Minister said that sanction of Rs. 25 crore has been received from Public Health Engineering Department for construction of overhead tanks in other places of the city also. He said that special attention would also be paid to maintenance of filter plant and distribution lines. The Minister informed that the state government has sanctioned Rs. 30 crore under AMRUT. Mayor Mrs. Mamta Gupta was also present on the occasion.
