Mr. Shukla reviews land acquisition and compensation cases of 4-lane national highway
Bhopal, November 14, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): Public Relations and Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that humanitarian approach should be adopted with positive viewpoint in disposal of compensation cases. He directed to expeditiously dispose of appellate cases of land acquired from farmers. Mr. Shukla was reviewing cases of compensation against land acquisition from residents of villages in Amarpatan and Maihar sub-divisions of Satna district for 4-lane national highway Rewa-Lakhnadaun via Jabalpur at Rewa today. Minister Mr. Shukla sought information regarding land acquisition, award, supplementary award and distribution of compensation. He is informed about payment of 93 percent in Amarpatan and payment of 78 percent of compensation in Maihar. It was informed that total 411 cases are pending pertaining to 60 villages of Maihar tahasil and 28 villages of Amarpatan tahasil. The Minister directed to present cases to Rewa Commissioner at the earliest to ensure early distribution of compensation. Former MLA Mr. Narayan Tripathi was also present on the occasion.
