Pre-bid meeting held at Bhopal
Bhopal, November 19, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): After successful auction of sand, Mineral Resources Department is now going to e-auction quarries of stone and stone slabs in the state. As many as 280 quarries will be e-auctioned. Reserve prize of these stone quarries is Rs. 6 crore 46 lakh 64 thousand. They would be e-auctioned in 8 phases from December 7 to 12. A pre-bid meeting was held at Academy of Administration here today to apprise bidders of process of e-auction. Problems of bidders were also solved on the occasion. The meeting was informed that bidders willing to take part in e-auction process should get themselves registered on portal www.mpeproc.gov.in.
A bidder already got registered during e-auction of sand need not get registered again. Processing fee and EMD in proportion to reserved price of a selected quarry should be deposited. If highest bid is received 10 minutes before close of bids then auction’s time-limit will be increase by 10 minutes automatically. If no bid is received during last 10 minutes then auction for concerning quarry will come to end. Free training will be imparted daily to prospective bidders of e-auction process at Bhopal from 2 to 4 pm.
