Following rules and regulations builds happy society

PR Minister at law day function at Rewa

shukl27.11.15Bhopal, November 27, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Energy, Mineral Resources and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that tendency to follow rules and regulations should be instilled in people. He said that we can build a happy society only by following rules and regulations enshrined in Constitution. Mr. Shukla was addressing a function on Law Day at Governor Law College, Rewa today. On the occasion, Preamble of the Constitution was read out in chorus and pledge was also taken.

Quoting examples of various countries, Mr. Shukla said that people there follow rules and regulations voluntarily. We should also emulate their level. We should inculcate habit of parking vehicles at right places, follow traffic rules and not to dump waste on roads. We should have respect for rules and regulations since they have been formed for our convenience. Referring to Constitution, the Minister said that it is a matter of price that we have world’s best Constitution, which aims at inclusive development, equality and equal opportunities for all. On Law Day, he said that it is an effective medium to make people aware about laws.

We should raise a society of best followers of law for country’s progress. Wishing students of law a bright future, Mr. Shukla urged them to give a new direction to progress of state and country through creative use of their education. Senior advocate Mr. Ghanshyam Singh dwelt in detail on salient features of Indian Constitution and urged law students to read it. Referring to judicial independence, Mr. Singh said that law help in building best society. In-charge vice chancellor Dr. S.K. Sharma said that people needs to be made aware of laws. He said that rules and regulations are effective, but they need to be implemented effectively by concerning agencies. Principal Dr. Surendra Pratap Singh while introducing subject threw light on need to observe Law Day.
