New system to be evolved to solve teachers’ problems: CM

Discussions with delegation of state Adhyapak Sangh

cm27.11.15Bhopal, November 27, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a new system would be evolved to solve teachers’ problems. Discussion will also be held with teachers about quality of teaching. Mr. Chouhan stated this during discussions a delegation of State Adhyapak Sangh’s office-bearers and District Presidents who met the Chief Minister at CM House here today. He informed that process of discussions with various sections of society is being expanded. In this series, programmes for direct dialogue with teachers, students, working women etc. will also be held. The Chief Minister said that atmosphere of harmony is necessary in teaching sector. Teachers of Adhyapak cadre should live with honour and respect and brighten future of students.

He said that teachers are valuable for him since they build future generation. With this spirit, Karmi Culture has been abolished and Adhyapak cadre formulated. He said that whatever the state government for Adhyapak cadre, it has done it with spirit of duty. More welfare works for Adhyapaks will also be done with same spirit. He said that at present, Rs. 8 thousand crore is being distributed from the state exchequer to drought relief farmers as relief, loans and electricity subsidy. Mr. Chouhan said that action to solve to problems of Adhyapaks will be taken at the earliest after discussions the representatives of the Sangh.

He said that arrangements will also be made for regular discussions with representatives of Adhyapaks so that their problems are solving regularly. MLA Mr. Murlidhar Patidar informed about discrepancy in Adhyapaks’ increment and other demands. Newly appointed President of State Adhyapak Sangh Mr. Jagdish Yadav said that Adhyapaks used to get only Rs. 500 per month in year 1995. Whatever Adhyapaks have now has been given by the existing state government. For this, Adhyapak Sandh and their family members would remain indebted. Welcome address was delivered by State Convener of Adhyapak Sangh. Mr. Raghevendra Sohgaura proposed a vote of thanks. Programme was conducted by Mr. Darshan Singh Choudhary.
