Ethical education necessary to students

Copy charter given by UNESCO presented to Governor

Bhopal, November 28, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Vice Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh Medical University Dr. D.P. Lokwani presented the Charter given by UNESCO to the university for started UNESCO Chair of Bioethics for students of medical college at Raj Bhavan here today. Extending greetings and best wishes to university’s officers and teachers, the Governor said that ethical education is necessary for all students. Establishment of this Chair will disseminate ethical education to medial students and would prove to be milestone in this regard. Vice chancellor Dr. Lokwani was presented this charter by Chairperson of Australia Dr. Royce in Delhi on November 7, 2015. So far, Charter to set up UNESCO Chair of Bioethics has been given to only 6 medical colleges in the country. At the Chair, syllabus for ethical education prepared by UNESCO will taught to medical students.
