Yatras necessary for harmony and social unity

Mr. Shukla welcomes Asha Yatra at Rewa

shukl29.11.15Bhopal, November 29, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that Yatras are necessary for social harmony and unity. He said that our country has long history of Yatras. Seers, saints and great people have undertaken Yatras from time to time giving message of humanity, truth, non-violence and brotherhood. Mr. Shukla was addressing a function on arrival of Asha Yatra for peace and harmony being undertaken spiritual guru, social reformer and educationist Mr. M. Guru at Rewa today.  Mr. Shukla while welcoming Mr. M. Guru said that our country is best example of unity in diversity due to existence of various castes, religions, sects, Panths, communities and societies.

This Yatra will work towards uniting people of different communities and regions. The Minister hoped that the Yatra will succeed in its objectives. Mr. M. Guru said that Asha Yatra is being taken out by Manav Ekta Mission for peace and harmony traveling 7,500 kilometers from Kanya Kumari to Kashmir. Its objectives include message of harmony, equality, sustainable lifestyle, women’s empowerment, community health, education and youth development. He said that love and non-violence is our natural behaviour. Motto of Manav Ekta Mission is love towards humanity during every phase of life from childhood.
