All villages in state to be equipped with basic facilities

llead4.12.15Bhopal, December 4, 2015 (Muslim Saleem):   Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that all villages in the state will be equipped with basic facilities. All villages will have 24X7 power and water supply. Mr. Chouhan was addressing an Antyodaya Mela at village Jalalkheri in Dewas district today. Revenue Minister Mr. Rampal Singh and Minister of State for School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi, MLAs Champalal Deora, Ashish Sharma and Mrs. Gayatri Raje Puar and Dewas Mayor Mr. Subhash Sharma were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister distributed assistance materials worth Rs. 12 crore 94 lakh to over 3 thousand beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister said that the state government fulfils the promises made by it. The state government is committed to solving people’s problems. Poor people are being provided wheat and rice at the rate of Re. one per kg. The Chief Minister announced deepening of lake at village Jalalkheri. He said that Jalalkheri and nearby villages will be connected with main road and dysfunctional transformers in villages will be replaced immediately. Mr. Chouhan said that 10 percent subsidy on loan as well as zero percent interest rate will be provided to farmers. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 11 thousand prize each for girls of Kannaud who presented cultural programmes at Antyodaya Mela.

Mr. Chouhan informed that budget of Rs. 250 crore will be released to the district for relief to drought affected farmers. The Chief Minister laid foundation stones for various construction works costing over Rs. 62 crore. The Chief Minister inaugurated works costing Rs. 3 crore 90 lakh. Benefit letters under various state government schemes were distributed to over 3 thousand beneficiaries. The Chief Minister distributed subsidy letters to selected farmers under Gopal Puraskar Yojana.
