Meetings of advisory committee should be held regularly

Chief secretary at meeting of state-level joint advisory committee

cs23.12.15Bhopal, December 23, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):   Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa chaired a meeting of state level joint advisory committee at Mantralaya here today. The Chief Secretary said that there should be regular dialogue between government and employees. He directed to hold committee’s meetings regularly. Representatives of various employees unions expressed gratitude towards the Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary GAD for the meeting. State Employees Welfare Committee’s Chairman Mr. Ramesh Chandra Sharma and office-bearers of various recognised unions took part in the meeting.

All organizations put forth suggestions before the Chief Secretary. CS assured to examine various issues for decisions in favour of employees. CS said that necessary decisions will be taken regarding pay scale, contractual service rules, compassionate appointments, leave encashment, time scale & increment, payment of arrears, existing status of nature of work of various cadres after due consideration of suggestions.

The meeting also discussed additional duties given to teachers along with teaching work and specific problems of work-charged drivers, patwaris, accountants of construction departments and other cadres. CS said that various discrepancies will be removed. He directed Education Department to deposit its pension contribution. ACS School Education Mr. S.R. Mohanthy, Principal Secretary GAD Mr. M.K. Varshney, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and other officers of various departments attended the meeting.
