Rs. 205 crore sanctioned for houses to poor at Rewa

shukl28.12.15Bhopal, December 28, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):   Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that the state government has sanctioned Rs. 205 crore for making available houses to the poor at Rewa. Construction of houses will be ensured within time-limit. Minister Mr. Shukla participated in Pran Pratishtha at Ram Darbar and performed Bhumi Poojan of parking at Rewa today. He said that Rs. 1093 crore will be received for construction of houses at Rewa during next 5 years. Minister Mr. Shukla said that pace of Rewa city’s development works has been accelerated.

The state government has sanctioned Rs. 175 crore for sewerage system and Rs. 25 crore for drinking water arrangements. Initiative of door-to-door waste collection has been taken to make Rewa beautiful and clean. He praised corporators for door-to-door contacts with get consent letters signed by people. The Minister said that the city will become clean and beautiful only through efforts of common people and public representatives. Referring to concrete arrangements for disposal of filthy water, he said that tender process is on for solid waste management. Generation of power through 500 tonne waste from Rewa, Sidhi and Satna will also start soon.
