PM Mr. Modi holds discussions in video-conferencing PRAGATI

Good work done in MP in food & civil supplies sector

Bhopal, December 31, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  During video-conferencing Pro-active Governance and Timely Implementation (PRAGATI), Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi held discussions on progress of various projects, Aadhar Card, food, civil supplies and consumer protection and other issues. Madhya Pradesh was lauded for issuing ration cards and online allocation of consumer essentials. Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh are ahead of all in this regard. In Madhya Pradesh, work to deliver food grains to ration shops has been systemized. The Prime Minister desired other states to emulate such achievement. Ration cards of one crore 15 lakh 29 thousand 224 families have been made online in Madhya Pradesh.

ACS Panchayats and Rural Development Mrs. Aruna Sharma informed during video-conferencing that arrangements have been made in Madhya Pradesh for direct deposit of funds under various schemes, scholarships, pension etc. in beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Prime Minister Mr. Modi lauded system to benefit beneficiaries through common data. Some states informed about progress of redressal of public grievances and pending works. The Prime Minister holds discussions with Chief Secretaries every month.
