Pathology tests to be conducted free
Bhopal, January 2, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Elaborate medical facilities will be available for devotees during Simhastha-2016 at Ujjain. Along with Ujjain city, comprehensive arrangements for disaster management will also be available at government health centres in nearby areas Narwar, Ghattiya, Mahidpur, Ingoriya, Badnagar, Nagda, Panthpiplai etc. Human resources, medicines and medical equipment will be available as per requirement at these health centres. Separate arrangements for male and female patients will be made at temporary health centers at Mela site. Apart from first aid, seasonal diseases will be treated there. Serious patients will be referred to nearby identified base hospitals or government hospitals.
Health Department will also provide free pathology tests for devotees. In a special drive during Simhastha, sugar and BP tests will be undertaken zone and sector wise. Ujjain city’s private hospitals will also partner in efforts to make available quality medical services to devotees. In private hospitals, 1231 beds will be available on temporary basis and 28 beds in ICUs for devotees.
