Mr. Shukla distributes Rs. 112 crore loans at Rewa
Bhopal, January 3, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): Public Relations, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that the state government wishes establishment of small-major industries in villages so that unemployed youths become self-reliant. He said that in coming years 2 lakh youths will be able to establish self-employment in Rewa district. The district will carve its unique identity by developing into industrial hub. Mr. Shukla was distributing Rs. 112 crore loans to 8169 beneficiaries of self-employment schemes at Mukhyamantri Zila Swarozgar Sammelan at Rewa today.
The Minister said that era of industrial revolution has begun in Rewa. Today’s convention is the proof that unemployed youths are getting loans to set up their own industries. The Minister said that over Rs. 100 crore loans were distributed for self-employment during financial year 2015-16. Till the year end, Rs. 150 crore loans will be distributed in coming months.
He hoped that target to distribute Rs. 300 crore will be set for financial year 2016-17 so that maximum youths get opportunity to become self-employed. The Minister said that Rs. 40 crore has been given to 5000 persons under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. Mayor Mrs. Mamta Gupta called for efforts to extend loans to women entrepreneurs during Women’s Empowerment Year. She said that through it, society can be really empowered. The Minister felicitated bank officers with excellent work. Mr. Shukla also inspected an exhibition.
