Bhopal, January 5, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Labour Minister Mr. Antar Singh Arya has informed that state’s second Shramodaya Vidyalaya will be constructed at Betma Road at Indore. Public Works Department has floated tenders for construction work. Mr. Arya said that labour cells will be opened in urban bodies of the state. Mr. Arya stated this while reviewing activities of Labour Department here today. Mr. Arya informed that online registration of labourers is going on under e-Governance Policy. Similarly, licences to shops under Shops and Establishment Act are also being issued online. Apart from covering labour welfare schemes under ambit of Public Services Delivery Guarantee Act, labour laws have also been simplified
. Mr. Arya said that condition of labourers in the state has improved. Rates of daily wages have also been increased. Process is on to open Industrial Training Centre at Pithampur Road at Indore. Labour Commissioner Mr. K.C. Gupta informed that efforts are on for effective implementation of labour laws. The state government has chalked out welfare schemes for workers of shops, establishments, industries and building construction sector.
Samgra ID Cards have been issued to all labourers. Labourers of agriculture, rural, MNREGA and bidi industry have been registered in unorganized labourers’ category and benefited. He said that cases pertaining to CM Helpline are being disposed of within time-limit.
