Vehicle pollution awareness rally

Ministers and public representatives flag off at district headquarters

cehicle11.1.16Bhopal, January 11, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):   Common people throughout the state enthusiastically participated in vehicle pollution awareness rally and mini marathon organised by Transport Department at district headquarters today. The rally was held in collaboration with various departments, voluntary organisations and people from 8 am. The rallies were flagged off by Ministers and public representatives. At the programmes, free driving licences were also distributed to women. Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar flagged off rally at Raisen after administering pledge of sanitation and pollution control.

Dr. Shejwar distributed prizes to winners of painting and slogan competitions on environmental conservation. He gave away driving licences to 15 women. At Dewas, Minister of State for School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi flagged off and participated in the rally.  At Singrauli, MP Mrs. Reeti Pathak and at Betul MP Mrs. Jyoti Dhurve flagged of vehicle pollution awareness rally and mini marathon.

Similarly, the rally was flagged off by Zila Panchayat President Mr. Parvatlal Ahirwar at Tikamgarh, Zila Panchayat President Mrs. Kala Bai Gohatiya Agar-Malwa. MLA Mr. Gopal Parmar and Mr. Murlidhar Patidar also participated in the rally. At Mandsaur, collector Mr. Swatantra Kumar Singh flagged off rally and mini marathon. Plantation was also undertaken during programme at Shivpuri. At Bhind, Yatayat Rath and pollution testing vehicle were flagged off. At Ashok Nagar, school children presented culture programmes on the occasion.
