I rose to post of minister by studying in government school

Mr. Joshi at regional unity programme of Navodaya Vidyalaya

joshi13.1.16Bhopal, January 13, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Addressing regional unity programme at Navodaya Vidyalaya here today, Minister of State for Higher and School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi said that he has risen to Minister’s post by studying in government school. Students of 98 Navodaya Vidyalayas of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha are participating in the programme. Mr. Joshi said that students should take part in cultural and sports activities also along with studies. Children of rural background are imparted teaching through modern methods at Navodaya Vidyalayas, he added.

Deputy Commissioner of Navodaya Schools Organisation informed that 41 students of Navodaya Vidyalayas have been selected in IITs. He informed that 325 students are taking part in the programme. Cultural programmes were also presented by students on the occasion. Mr. Joshi and MLA Mr. Rameshwar Sharma inspected paintings and terracotta toys made by students. Navodaya Vidyalaya’s teachers and students were present on the occasion.
