“Light & sound system” at historic Rajwada from today

LS Speaker Mrs. Mahajan and CM Mr. Chouhan to inaugurate

Bhopal, January 25, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):   Indoreans are set to get another novel gift on January 25. “Light & Sound System” will be started at historic Rajwada situated in the heart of the city. During the 45 minutes long programme commencing from Monday evening at Rajwada, people and tourists will hear and witness tales of Indore’s history and cultural glory. Millennium Star Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the programme, which has made its presentation more impressive. Lok Sabha Speaker Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan will be chief guest the dignified inaugural function at 6.30 pm on January 25. Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan will preside over the function. Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Mr. Surendra Patwa will be specially present. It is noteworthy that Rajwada belonging to Holkars is Indore’s pride and identity.

The state government is making constant efforts for protection and preservation of this historic and archaeological heritage.  On one hand people and tourists will hear and witness tales of Indore’s history and cultural glory through Light & Sound System prgramme, local youths will also have an opportunity to learn about and understand their own city.

Light & Sound System prgramme has been prepared by Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation at a cost of about Rs. 2 crore. It can be witnessed from 6.45 pm in Hindi and 7.45 pm in English. Indore city is known for pleasant evenings which is famous as Shab-e-Malwa. Not only Indore, but evenings and nights of entire Malwa region are very pleasant. It is a pleasant coincidence that this programme is going to be held at Indore in the evening. Indoreans had waited for it for a long time.
