White tiger to be seen in tableaux 7 districts on republic day

tiger25.1.16Bhopal, January 25, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):   Republic Day Parade tableaux this year, white tiger will be seen in 7 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Among others, tableaux depicting white tiger will be taken out at Bhopal, Rewa, Satna, Shahdol, Umaria, Singrauli and Sidhi. Due to white tiger, Rewa is a topic of discussions all over the world. Work has almost been completed in Mukundpur near Rewa for world’s first white tiger safari, zoo and rescue centre. Of 100 hectare area of the Safari, Mukundpur zoo is in 75 hectares and white tiger safari in 25 hectares. Return of white tiger to Mukundpur safari is a matter of pride not only for this region, but entire Madhya Pradesh. White tiger has returned to its original habitat Rewa with great pomps.

White tiger is offspring of ordinary tiger. But it has acquired whiteness due to mutation of genes. It is not a different specie and is totally Indian. White and yellow tigers are offsprings of same mother. Their behavior, habitat and habits are same. Madhya Pradesh’s tableau in Republic Day parade this year in New Delhi will show white tiger. Both sides of the tableau will depict models of 15 white tiger playing with each other. White tiger names Mohan used to live in vast enclosure at Govindgarh fort of Maharaja Martand Singh of Rewa. White tiger will be prominently displayed on this year’s tableau of the state with a view to re-establishing identity of Madhya Pradesh through it.
