9th MP Exportech gets underway to provide global market to state’s producers

tomar30.1.16Bhopal, January 30, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  The 9th MP Exportech (Buyer-Seller Meet) got underway to provide global market to state’s entrepreneurs at Gwalior today. It was inaugurated by Union Minister of Steel and Mines Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar. Mr. Tomar informed importers from all over the world that Madhya Pradesh is rich in excellent quality products and urged them to buy state’s products without any hesitation. Central and state governments will provide every possible assistance to importers and state’s producers, he added.

Union Minister Mr. Tomar said that it is government’s responsibility to promote small industries and make available good market for their products. Efforts of Madhya Pradesh in this regard are laudable. He said that industry-friendly atmosphere is prevailing in the state for the last 10 years. Major industrial houses are getting attracted to invest here. He said that precious stones carved in Stone Park of Gwalior are being exported all over the world.

Carpet and Plastic Parks are also being established here.  Commerce & Industries Minister Mrs. Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that Madhya Pradesh has joined pioneer states of the country due to rapid growth of industrial sector. She said that Madhya Pradesh has high level infrastructure. Its growth and agriculture growth rates are above double digits for last 3 years.

About 71 buyers (importers) from 20 countries have arrived to participate in the Exportech being held at MP Exportech Facilitation Centre on the premises of Gwalior Trade Fair. Besides, 10 companies of government and public sector are also participating in it. About 92 sellers from Gwalior-Chambal and all other parts of the state have put up 120 stalls.

Half of these are sellers of Gwalior area. In the meet, 92 sellers have put up stalls in 6 sectors including Ayurveda and herbal products, engineering goods, pharma, stones, textiles and processed food. Besides, 10 units of service and government sector have also put up stalls including MP SME, MKD Cargo Base, APEDA, Madhya Pradesh Tourism, ECGS, SBI, Axis Bank, Indsind Bank, DGFT and NPLUN.
