lead5.2.16Bhopal, February 5, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):   Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a special drive will be launched to fill backlog posts of SCs and STs. Instructions for mandatory 30 percent purchase in government purchase from SC and ST entrepreneurs should be followed strictly. He said that internal vigilance and file tracking system should be implemented in departments effectively. Immediate action should be ensured against government officers and employees trapped and punished by courts. The Chief Minister was reviewing activities of General Administration Department here today.

Minister of State for GAD Mr. Lal Singh Arya, Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa, Principal Secretary Mr. M.K. Varshney, DG of Academy of Administration Mrs. Kanchan Jain, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. Iqbal Singh Bains and other senior officers attended the meeting. The Chief Minister said that arrangements for mandatory 30 percent of government purchase from SC and ST entrepreneurs will continue. All departments will follow it strictly. He said that arrangements for online exam etc should be made to fill SC, ST backlog posts.

Camps should be held at district headquarters for recruitment of candidates belonging to primitive tribes. Recruitment of all types of disabled persons should be made against post reserved for disabled persons. The Chief Minister said that internal vigilance arrangements should be made to curb irregularities in all departments. Besides, file tracking system should be implemented to obviate inordinate delay in taking decision on files. The system will show as to which file is with whom, due to which action can be taken against officers indulging in inordinate delay. External assessment arrangements should also be made to assess functioning of departments.

Mr. Chouhan said that Administrative Reforms Commission will be constituted to strengthen government’s functioning. Home delivery system will be made for identified services. He said that those whose entry is necessary should not face any difficulty in entering Vallabh Bhavan while unauthorized entry of unnecessary people should be curbed. Pending cases of disciplinary action against government servants should be disposed of speedily. Circulars issued by government and protocol should be strictly followed.
