Battery-operated vehicle dedicated in Mukundpur white tiger safari

Energy Minister Mr. Shukla inspects

shukla14.2.16Bhopal, February 13, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Energy and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla dedicated battery-operated vehicle for convenience of tourists at world’s first Mukundpur zoo, rescue centre and white tiger safari today. The vehicle has been available by Forest Department. The Minister also witnessed activities of white tigress Vindhya released on trial basis in white tiger safari in Mand jungles. Minister Mr. Shukla apprised himself of arrangements to look after white tigress, yellow tiger and other wild animals. Mr. Shukla directed to complete construction works at the earliest.

It was informed that natural habitat at Mukundpur is very suitable for white tigress. The battery-operated vehicle has capacity to seat 11 tourists. Mr. Shukla directed officers to ensure that all construction works in Mand should be completed by the end of February. Wild animals of 11 species are being brought to white tiger safari. These include thamin deer, bison, walking deer, hog deer, wild boar, Sanbhar, Chinkara, swamp deer, Neelgai and Cheetal. Enclosures for lion and panther have been prepared. The Minister also discussed inauguration of white tiger safari. It is proposed to be inaugurated between March 15 to 30. Mr. Shukla inspected construction of main road and another road from Churhata bypass to Rewa city.
