Hanuwantiya gets best adventure tourism award just in the beginning

lead14.2.16Bhopal, February 13, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):  At the inaugural function of 10-day Jal-Mahotsav, Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Urban Development Minister Mr. Venkaiah Naidu distributed 14 awards sponsored by ‘ATOI’. Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation was conferred the award for ‘Best Indian State Adventure Tourism for the development of tourism complex at Hanuwantiya. Executive Director Mr. O.P. Choudhary and Dr P.P. Singh received the award on behalf of the corporation. Besides, ‘Best Adventure Travel Website’ Award was conferred to Adventure Nation organisation. Similarly, ‘Best Popular Adventure Camp’ Award was given to Atali Ganga organisation.

Fly By Aviation Private Limited was conferred award for adventure activities in the air, Jumping Adventure Private Limited awarded for adventure activities on the ground and M.V. Mahabahu awarded for adventure activities in the water. Binsar Forest Retreat was conferred award for New Innovative Product. Award for Excellence in Community and Adventure-based Tourism was conferred to Pugmark Eco Tourism Private Limited. Innovation and Adventure Travels related award was given to Life Straws and A & S Creation.

Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred to Mr. Basant Limaye, Hall of Fame Award to Mr. Mohan Tikku, Friend of Adventure Award to Indian Mountaineering Foundation and President’s Award for Game Changer in the Adventure Travel Industry was conferred to Dekath Fall Sport India. Award for Promotion for Adventure Travel was conferred to Jammu-Kashmir Tourism, Sustainability in Adventure Travel Award to Sikkim Tourism and Upcoming State Promoting Adventure Travel award was conferred to Maharashtra Tourism.
