CM Mr. Chouhan at mega free health camp at Shahdol
Bhopal, February 16, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that grand special camps will be held every year in all districts for treatment of serious diseases. He said that serving suffering humanity is the true worship of God. Mr. Chouhan was addressing a mega free health camp at Shahdol today. The camp was organised under joint aegis of state government, Rajkrishna Tankha Foundational, Madhya Pradesh Foundation and Rotary Club. Tribal Welfare Minister Mr. Gyan Singh, MP Mr. Dalpat Singh Paraste and Tribal Development Commission’s Chairman Mr. Narendra Marawi were present on the occasion. Mr. Chouhan said that the same virtues of performing worships and Yagya at temples are attained by serving the downtrodden. He said that serving patients and providing them proper treatment is biggest humanitarian service.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has implemented concrete measures to improve health services in the state. He informed that the state government is extending assistance for treatment of heart patient, sight impaired and deaf & dumb children. Since Republic Day, dialysis machines have been installed in all district hospitals. Assistance is being given from Mukhyamantri Beemari Sahayata and Mukhyamantri Swechchhanudan Yojana. All patients are being provide medicines free of cost in all government hospitals.
Mr. Chouhan said that the state government has decided to check health of patients at special camps to be held every year in districts and if anyone is diagnosed of serious disease his or her treatment will be ensured in country’s prestigious hospitals. The Chief Minister said that along with yielding better results, we would also succeed in developing Healthy Madhya Pradesh.
Mr. Chouhan lauded cooperation of Tankha Foundation, Madhya Pradesh Foundation and Rotary Club to hold this mega free health camp. He also praised doctors and paramedical staff for rendering free services at the camp. Supreme Court Justice Mr. Deepak Verma and former Advocate General of M.P. Mr. Vivek Tankha also spoke on the occasion. The Chief Minister felicitated outstanding performers during the camp.
