Haryana’s food & civil supplies minister Mr. Kamboj on MP visit

To study PDS arrangements in Ujjain and Hoshangabad

Bhopal, February 17, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Haryana’s Food & Civil Supplies Minister Mr. Karan Dev Kamboj is coming on 2-day visit to Madhya Pradesh. He will make spot study of PDS arrangements at Ujjain and Hoshangabad. Mr. Kamboj will inspect steel silos for safe storage of food grains at Ujjain on February 17. He will also see fair price shops there. On February 18, Minister Mr. Kamboj will visit fair price shops in Bhopal city. Point of Sale machines have been installed at these shops to curb irregularities in PDS. Apni Shop-Apna Ration (ASAR) Scheme has been implemented in Bhopal city. Under the scheme, a consumer can purchase his quota from a shop of his own choice. The same day at 11 am, the Haryana Minister will apprise himself of schemes of Food and Civil Supplies Department. Later, he would visit Hoshangabad and see fair price shops there. Mr. Kamboj will go from Itarsi to Raipur. The Haryana Food Minister will be accompanied by Haryana MLA Mr. Harvinder Singh Kalyan, Mr. Bhagwan Singh Kabirpanthi and Mr. Subhash Sudha during Madhya Pradesh visit.
