Prime Minister crop insurance scheme to be launched
Kisan Mitra and Kisan Hiteshi Samman to be conferred to Mr. Narendra Modi
Bhopal, February 18, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will formally unveil Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme at Sherpur in Sehore district on February 18. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme has been formulated to ensure that farmers get more insurance amount on less premium. It is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that the Prime Minister is launching this scheme from the state. At the programme, Prime Minister Mr. Modi will present trophy of Krishi Karman Award 2013-14 to Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen and the Chief Secretary. Minister of External Affairs Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Union Agriculture Minister Mr. Radhamohan Singh, Steel and Union Mining Minister Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Mr. Thavarchand Gehlot and State BJP President Mr. Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan will also be present on the occasion. As per schedule, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will reach venue of Kisan Mahsammelan at Sherpur in Sehore district at 1.30 pm. At the programme, the Prime Minister will be conferred Kisan Mitra and Kisan Hiteshi Samman on behalf of Madhya Pradesh government for historic decisions in the interest of farmers. At the programme, Soil Health Cards will be distributed to 3 farmers. Benefit of crop insurance for Kharif-2015 will be given to 3 farmers.
