Government committed to increasing happiness quotient in people’s lives

lead22.2.16Bhopal, February 22, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Mati Shilp Panchayat will be held at CM House before onset of monsoon. He said that along with ensuring economic growth, the state government is also making efforts to increase happiness quotient in people’s lives. Mr. Chouhan was addressing a Parichay Sammelan of young girls and boys under the aegis of Prajapati Samaj, Bhopal at Gandhi Bhavan here today. The Chief Minister said that Prajapati Samaj is linked to clay craft. Clay Craft Board has been constituted to put into practice their aspirations and expectations. Number of Board’s members will be increased from 7 to 10. Chairman will be accorded status of Cabinet Minister. He said that local bodies will be directed to earmark places for sale of clay products.

He said that legal course will be taken after discussing all aspects of solution to community’s problems and their development at its Panchayat to be held at CM House. Discussions on all aspects will be held including digging of soil, fly ash, compensation against clay products destroyed by natural calamity, traditional-modern occupation, employment etc. The Chief Minister said that Prajapati community removes darkness from world and bring light. Not auspicious function is held without Prajapati Samaj in Indian society.

Lauding start of Parichay Sammelan by the Samaj, he said that marriages settled during the Sammelan should be solemnised under Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana. He would try to attend the function. He said that daughters are not burden in the state. The state government has made them boon through schemes like Mukhyamantri Kanyadan and Ladli Laxmi Yojana. All arrangements have been made to ensure their education. Reservation has also been given to them in elections and government jobs. BJP State President Mr. Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan said that the state government is working to serve people through well contemplated policies.

A number of welfare schemes and programmes like Ladli Laxmi, Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana have been implemented for the welfare of poor families. President of Prajapati Samaj and former Minister Mr. Narmada Prasad Prajapati presented a memorandum comprising demands of the samaj. MLAs Vishwas Sarang, R.D. Prajapati, Ram Dayal Prajapati, Ashok Prajapati, Rajesh Prajapati, Radheshyam Prajapati, large number of community’s male and female members and youths were present on the occasion.
