CM Mr. Chouhan worships at Sant Ravidas Ashram, Maihar
Bhopal, February 23, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan worshipped at Sant Ravidas Ashrm at Maihar in Satna district today on the occasion of state level Sant Ravidas Jayanti Mahakumbh. Mr. Chouhan also paid floral tributes at Smadhi-Sthal of Swami Parmershwar Prakash Maharaj. The Chief Minister said that a grand temple, community hall and Ashray Sthal will be constructed at Sant Ravidas Ashram. He said that Sant Ravidas Mahakumbh will be held every year. Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, Revenue Minister Mr. Rampal Singh, MP and State BJP President Mr. Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan, MP Mr. Ganesh Singh, Maihar MLA Mr. Narayan Tripathi, saints-seers and devotees were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that he is feeling proud by paying obeisance to Sant Ravidas. He said that Sant Ravidas taught society that all are equal in society. No one is big or small, high or low. Every visitor to the Ashram takes pride in the visit. Mr. Chouhan said that Sant Ravidas was a saint capable of performing miracles. Once a friend had promised to meet him in the evening, but died in the morning.
He rushed to the place of incident, told the dead friend as to why he is sleeping there, wake up and soon the dead came alive. The Chief Minister said that Sant Ravidas was the Guru of Krishna devotee Mira Bai. He said that government’s beneficiary-oriented schemes are being implemented effectively to uplift living standards of scheduled caste people in state. Earlier, the Chief Minister worshipped and sought blessings at Maa Sharda Devi temple.
