State has immense potential in solar and wind energy sectors

Delegation of OIC of Korea meets CM Mr. Chouhan

cmhonkon24.2.16Bhopal, February 23, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there are immense possibilities of working in solar and wind energy sectors in Madhya Pradesh. Every possible cooperation would be extended to companies working in these sectors. The Chief Minister was holding discussions with a delegation of OIC of Korea here today. Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa and other officers were present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that the state has also immense potential in new and renewable energy sector. Work is also being done in this direction in the state.

World’s largest solar power plant is being established in Rewa district. He said that every individual or company is welcome to work in this sector. The state government will extend every possible assistance to them. The Chief Minister underscored the fact that there is a conducive atmosphere in the state in wind and solar energy sectors and government’s rules and procedures are fully transparent.

Chairman of OIC of Korea Mr. Wu Yun Lee evinced interest in working in solar energy sector in the state. He informed that his company is pioneer in manufacturing solar panels. Principal Secretary Industries Mr. Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary New and Renewable Energy Mr. Manu Shrivastava, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. S.K. Mishra and MD of TRIFAC Mr. D.P. Ahuja were also present on the occasion.
