CM Mr. Chouhan invites Chinese investors to state
Bhopal, February 27, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there are immense possibilities of collaboration of China and MP in industries sector. A special zone has been established at Dhar industrial area for South Asian companies. Mr. Chouhan was holding discussions with a delegation of investors from China led by Vice Governor of Henan province Mr. Zhao Jianchai at his residence here today. Mr. Chouhan said that Henan providence and Madhya Pradesh has many similarities. He said that along with trade ties, mutual cultural relations should also be strengthened.
Both countries are agrarian with almost similar growth rates. He informed the Chinese delegation that Madhya Pradesh is making rapid strides in food processing, information technology and automobile sectors. It is fastest growing state of India. Mr. Chouhan invited the Chinese delegation to Global investors Summit to be held at Indore. Mr. Zhao said that China is interested to invest in industrial sector. He invited the Chief Minister to China to take part in investors meet to be held in Henan.
The delegation comprised Henan province’s Director General Commerce Mr. Jiach Jinmio, Director General Transport Mr. Zhang Kiang and Deputy Director General External Affairs Mr. Yang Vebin. Industries Minister Mrs. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Principal Secretary Industries Mr. Mohammad Suleman, Secretary to CM Mr. Vivek Agrawal and TRIFAC’s MD Mr. D.P. Ahuja were also present on the occasion.
