Budget a boon for farmers and agriculture

PR Minister’s reaction on union budget

Bhopal, March 1, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Public Relations, Energy and New & Renewable Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has described the budget presented in Parliament today as a boon for farmers and agriculture. The Minister said that to meet a number of challenges, the budget has initiated important measures for economic reforms, which are laudable. He said that the budget will realize ‘Make in India’ dream of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Mr. Shukla said that the budget has paved way for doubling income of farmers in accordance with resolve of farmer-friendly Prime Minister Mr. Modi. He said that the balanced and development-oriented budget has paid special attention to infrastructure, which will hasten pace of development and progress of the country. Provisions in the budget for rural development, employment creation, health, education, roads, housing, crop insurance etc are praiseworthy. Equal attention has also been paid to social sector. Besides, special attention has also been paid to renewable energy sector. Provision to electrify cent percent villages by May 1, 2018 is specially laudable.  Minister Mr. Shukla said that Union Budget 2016-17 will prove to be a milestone in country’s development.
