CM inaugurates 170 houses and police training building at Rewa

cmpolice4.3.16Bhopal, March 4, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that 25 thousand houses will be constructed in the state for police personnel in next 5 years. About 5000 police personnel will be recruited every year. Mr. Chouhan was inaugurating 170 houses and police training building at Rewa today. Energy and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla, MP Mr. Janardan Mishra and Mayor Mrs. Mamta Gupta were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that service of police personnel is commitment to people’s security and service. Therefore, it is different from other jobs.

He said that the state police has a glorious history. Police of the state has played important role in maintaining peace in the state imbibing mantra of patriotism and public service. It is due to efforts of police personnel that the state is an island of peace. Dacoity menace has been eradicated and no terrorist activity has succeeded in the state. Mr. Chouhan said that 10 thousand houses have been constructed for police personnel. To strengthen police force, 32 thousand personnel have been recruited during last 10 years. He urged police personnel to be polite with citizens and tough with criminals.
