CM Mr. Chouhan reviews preparations
Bhopal, March 15, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will attend at grand function marking 125th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti at Ambedkar Nagar Mhow on April 14. Like every year, the state government will also organize Ambedkar Mahakumbh at birthplace of Dr. Ambedkar this year. Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed preparations for Prime Minister Mr. Modi’s visit and Ambedkar Mahakumbh at a meeting here today. SC and ST Welfare Minister Mr. Gyan Singh, Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa and DGP Mr. Surendra Sinh also attended the meeting. The Chief Minister said that all preparations for Ambedkar Mahakumbh should be completed within time-limit. Special attention should be paid to ensuring convenience of visitors to Mhow on this occasion. Arrangements for their food and lodging should be made. Like every year, Ambedkar Nagar should be decorated with people’s cooperation. All necessary arrangements should be made at Ambedkar Memorial. Security and other arrangements should be concrete. Assistance of NGOs and local people should also be taken in arrangements.
The meeting was informed that Prime Minister Mr. Modi will pay obeisance at Ambedkar Memorial and address devotees. Devotees from all over the state will attend this grand function. Vice Chancellor of Ambedkar University, administrative and police officers of Indore, senior officers of SC, ST Welfare Department and office-bearers of local committees also attended the meeting.
