arya30.3.16Bhopal, March 30, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Pilgrims will depart for Haj-2016 from new Haj House at Bhopal this year. Additional Rs. 3 crore has been sanctioned for construction of 3rd floor of the building by Central government. Of this, Rs. one crore has been received. This was stated by Minorities Welfare Minister Mr. Antar Singh Arya during draw of lots for Haj here today. Mr. Arya started process by drawing lots in the name of Mr. Aziz Mohammad and Mr. Abdul Aziz. MP Mr. Alok Sanjar, Shahar Qazi Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadvi, State Haj Committee’s Chairman Mr. Inayat Hussain Qureshi and Chairpersons of District Haj Committees were present on the occasion.

Congratulating prospective Haj pilgrims, Mr. Arya urged them to start preparations for the journey right now. Mr. Arya urged them to avail benefit of all training camps, understand rules and regulations of Saudi Arabia, practice walking for 4-5 kms daily along with spiritual preparation to avoid difficulties during Haj rituals. Mr. Arya congratulated Mr. Inayat Hussain Qureshi on being elected State Haj Committee Chairman. MP Mr. Alok Sanjar said that Madhya Pradesh has got quota of 2708 seats this year. He said that he would urge the Central government to increase this quota. Shahar Qazi directed to start training for Haj pilgrims right from today. He advised Haj pilgrims to attend training camps and keep totally fit mentally, spiritually and physically.’
