Industries Minister Mrs. Scindia to inaugurate
GAIL, BHEL and 200 micro & small industries to participate
Bhopal, April 3, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): An action plan is being implemented by Industries Department for interface between major and medium and micro and small industries to understand requirements of each other, vendor development, marketing support and promotion to technical upgradation. For this, third vendor development workshop will be held at Hotel Jahanuma Palace on April 5. Industries Minister Mrs. Yashodhara Raje Scindia will inaugurate it. Under Vendor Development Scheme, a target has been set to establish 500 micro and small industries as vendors of 70 major and medium units in the state including public sector undertakings of the state government. Through it, micro and small units will get work and employment will also be generated. A platform is being made available under Vendor Development Scheme where major and medium industries can get accessories at local level at low cost. Western Coalfields, South-Eastern Coalfields, Northern Coalfields, National Thermal Power Corporation, GAIL, Bina Refinery, BHEL and other major industries will give their presentations and about 200 micro and small industries will take part in the workshop.
