Fame of festival reaches all corners of state

PR Minister Mr. Shukla concludes Mahotsav

shukl7.4.16Bhopal, April 7, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Public Relations, Energy, New & Renewable Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that by virtue of its distinct presentations and grandeur, Vindhya Mahotsav has attracted attention all over the state. Its fame has reached all corners of the state. Vindhya region and Rewa are now familiar to all. Mr. Shukla was concluding 5-day Vindhya Mahotsav at Rewa on Tuesday. Mr. Shukla also released a ‘souvenir’ on the occasion. Mr. Shukla said that Mahotsav has given a distinct identity to Vindhya region and Rewa. The Minister said that Mahotsav will be made more attractive and grand in coming years. He said that Trade Fair held during Mahotsav will also be given greater proportions.

It will become a leading fair in the country. Referring to region’s development, Mr. Shukla said that now Rewa is heading towards becoming a metropolitan city.   Mayor Mrs. Mamta Gupta said that Mahotsav signifies local folk culture, civilization and traditions. MP Mr. Janardan Mishra hoped that Mahotsav will be via media to uplift area’s culture, civilization and local artistes. Eminent playback singer Mr. Sukhvinder Singh’s presentations enchanted audience. Collector Mr. Rahul Jain threw light on Utsav’s proportions and activities in future years. MLA Mr. Divyaraj Singh, Principal Secretary Energy Mr. I.C.P. Kesari, Divisional Commissioner Mr. S.K. Paul, public representatives, members of the organizing committee, journalists and large number of art lovers were present on the occasion.
