PR Minister at free health check-up camp in Rewa
Bhopal, April 11, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Public Relations, Energy, New & Renewable Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that for all-round development, our main objective must be building a sensitive society. The Minister was addressing free health check-up camp at Yamuna Prasad Shastri Blind and Handicapped College, Rewa today. The Minister remembered contribution of former MP late Mr. Yamuna Prasad Shastri for public welfare and region’s development. He said that Rs. 10 lakh grant will be given to Yamuna Prasad Shastri Blind and Handicapped College.
Mr. Rajendra Shukla dedicated ‘Karunalaya’ for shelter-treatment of senior citizens at Rewa today. He and MP Mr. Janardan Mishra also gave grants for ‘Karunalaya’. The Minister said that senior citizens suffering from serious diseases and unable to get treatment, will be housed and treated at ‘Karunalaya’. In the old age home, daycare centre and dormitory have also been constructed. The Minister said that modern treatment arrangements for cancer have been made at Rewa. Ultramodern machines will be installed as per recommendations of doctors. Secretary of Red Cross Society Mr. Ramesh Mishra proposed a vote of thanks.
