CM Mr. Chouhan releases vision document of Vanvasi Parishad

cm12.4.16Bhopal, April 12, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):   Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state government is committed to happiness and prosperity of tribals. Major initiatives have been taken for their all-round development. Mr. Chouhan was releasing Policy Vision Document for Indian tribals prepared by Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad here today. The Chief Minister said that the state government is making earnest efforts to bring those lagging in the race of development to the mainstream. He said that concrete efforts have been made in the state for integrated development and welfare of tribals.

They are being provided subsidized food grains, hostels for better education to their children, fee for coaching and foreign study. Mr. Chouhan said that work is going on to distribute forest right letters to forest dwellers. Till date, over 2 lakh forest right letters have been distributed. Besides, a campaign is also underway to issue housing Pattas. Tribal youths are extended maximum assistance to set up industries and business. Minimum support price has been announced so that tribal forest produce collectors can get lucrative profit. Mr. Sadashiv Rao Kokje, Mr. Radheshyam Sharma, Mr. Girish, other office-bearers and large number of distinguished citizens were present on the occasion.
