114 Gond tribal couples tie nuptial knot under Mukhaymantri Kanyadan Yojana at Piplani
Bhopal, April 20, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): As many as 114 Gond tribal couples tied nuptial knot under Mukhaymantri Kanyadan Yojana at village Piplani in Nasrullaganj tahasil of Sehore district today. One of these couples and 2 bridegrooms were disabled. Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan blessed the newly wed couples for happy married life. He refused to be welcomed saying that since he is uncle of brides, he would welcome marriage parties himself. The Chief Minister described as inspirational marriage of son of Nasrullaganj Janpad Panchayat President Mrs Dulari Bai in this function. He said that 2 lakh 16 thousand forest land rights pattas have been distributed in the state. This process is still going on. By year 2022, no one will be houseless.
He said that entire Gondvana is being developed. Blessing the newly wed couples, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kunwar Shah said that Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is making special efforts for project Gond tribals’ history and their preservation and augmentation. Minister Kunwar Shah presented wall clocks to the couples. The Chief Minister took part in Yagya at village Bawadiya Kheda.
He blessed newly wed couple at the wedding of son of Nasrullaganj Krishi Upaj Mandi’s President Mrs. Leela Bai Ramji Yadav at Rafiqganj (Lodadi) village. He informed villagers that a survey is going on for construction of dams at Sanroha and Mogra. Minister in-charge of Sehore district Mr. Rampal Singh, MARKFED’s Chairman Mr. Ramakant Bhargava, Corporations’ Chairpersons Mr. Rajendra Singh Rajput and Mr. Guruprasad Sharma, large number of relatives of couples and villagers were present on the occasion.
