Workshop marks civil service day

cs21.4.16Bhopal, April 21, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa has said that public servants are working with commitment and resolve for public welfare and state’s development. He was addressing a workshop marking Civil Service Day here today. Civil Service Day is held to feel and share the pride acquired from achievements made through these efforts. Mr. de Sa said that this day is an occasion to hold discussions on more effective and result-oriented implementation of government schemes and programmes. Officers of Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Forest Service and State Administrative Service attended the workshop at Academy of Administration here today.

ACS School Education Mr. S.R. Mohanthy gave a presentation on making administration public-oriented. Additional DGP Mr. Anvesh Mangalam gave a presentation regarding Dial-100 and Secretary Social Justice Mr. Manohar Agnani regarding inclusion of disabled persons in mainstream of society. Giving a presentation on role of GIS in Madhya Pradesh’s development schemes, Secretary Science and Technology Mr. Manish Rastogi informed that several state government departments are using GIS-based information. A presentation on contribution of forestry and industrialisation was also given at the workshop.
