Top priority to improvement in farmers’ condition and better facilities

CM attends Gram Sansad at village Tigariya Goga in Dewas district

Bhopal, April 26, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):   Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that improvement in farmers’ condition and giving them better facilities is the top priority of the state government. Mr. Chouhan was addressing Gram Sansad at village Tigariya Goga in Dewas district today. Mr. Chouhan said that farmers will face no financial problems following implementation of Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme. He urged farmers to adopt new agriculture techniques and use modern agriculture implements. Mr. Chouhan called for irrigation through drip sprinkler method. He advised farmers to set up small industries and businesses in village and motivate youths to avail benefit of Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana. Mr. Chouhan informed that along with empowerment of self-help groups, food processing companies have also been invited to invest in the state. He informed that all houseless families will be provided houses in the state by year 2022. The Chief Minister urged villagers to construct toilets in their houses and help village become open defecation free and launch a campaign to make the village addiction-free. He also administered oath to make the village ideal.  Minister of State for Higher and School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi also addressed Gram Sansad. Those felicitated on the occasion include girl Reena for being most educated, Mr. Badrilal for maximum plantation, Kishore for most clean house, Mrs. Pushpavai for most clean lane of the ward and Pooja Dabar for creating most attractive Rangoli. Farmers also put forth their views before the Chief Minister at Gram Sansad. The Chief Minister shared experiences of growing pomegranate and flowers in his farm. He informed that he is earning Rs. 10 lakh per annum from floriculture in polyhouse.
