Bhopal, April 28, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):
Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has given right nomenclature of ‘Divyang’ to them. The God has bestowed some additional qualities to some persons. Class VIII student Raj Sachdeva has proved it. The mentally retarted boy was hyper in his early childhood. Though parents admitted him in school, both they and teachers were worried. But a teacher of the same school Mr. Vijay Sapre, who is associated with Jawahar Bal Bhavan, noticed Raj’s keen interest in music. He moulded Raj in this direction. Following this, this Divyang boy continued to hone his music skills day by day. His studies also improved. Last year, Raj scored 80 percent marks in class VII exam. When Raj Sachdeva started singing, he left behind even fully developed children. He possesses unique singing skills. He can sing for more than 5 hours continuously. He is the leader of singing team of his group. This is the youngest group which sings Bhajans and Keertans throughout the country. Apart from Bhajans, Raj also sings Qawwalis very well and is also well versed in classical singing. His grip on Dadra, Thumri, Kajri, Chaiti etc. are proofs of his adroitness. Jawahar Bal Bhavan provided stage to his talent, which transformed Raj’s life. Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Maya Singh was greatly impressed when she heard Raj’s bhajans with other children at Bal Bhavan on Tuesday. She said that such works should be emulated to promote neglected children in society. She congratulated Jawahar Bal Bhavan for this.
