Marriages of daughters of insects affected farmers to be solemnised by government

cmmariga28.4.16Bhopal, April 28, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that marriages of daughters of farmers affected by insects will be solemnised by the state government. He announced this at a mass marriage ceremony of Yaduvanshi Samaj at village Aipa in Seoni-Malwa block of Hoshangabad district today. PWD Minister Mr. Sartaj Singh was also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that in Yaduvanshi Samaj, there is no discrimination between sons and daughters. Name of Radha precedes Krishna. He declined to be welcomed at the ceremony saying that he is a member of brides’ side being their maternal uncle. Mr. Chouhan referred to government schemes for welfare of girls including Ladli Laxmi Yojana, distribution of free text-books and free cycles and Gaon Ki Beti Yojana. He blessed all 38 newly wed couples.  Mr. Chouhan announced a high school at village Babri, community hall at Bhilatdev, construction of Narmada Ghat and road at Aipa. Mr. Chouhan also took sample of soil from one field.
