Lakhs of devotees taking the holy dip in Khsipra river

When a massive fair like Simhastha Mahakumbh is held after an interval of 12 years, it is but natural that it would witness massive participation of people. Devotees from all over the country are lauding the administration and the state government for excellent arrangements for Simhastha. Large number of devotees are seen taking the holy dip in Kshipra and acquiring knowledge about religion and spiritualism daily. Spectators are mesmerized and enchanted to see saints, seers and devotees rushing in and take the holy dip amidst chanting of slogans. All arrangements are excellent. Hustle and bustle at ghats is worth seeing. Devotees experience a surge of unique energy in their bodies after taking the holy dip in clean and pure water in Kshipra river where attractive fountains are also sprinkle water on them. This is reason that not only Indian devotees, but foreign tourists are also taking part in it. Home Guard’s motorboats are constantly patrolling the river while police and paramilitary personnel are guarding the ghats. Kshipra ghats are being continuously cleaned. Sanitary workers have been deployed at every necessary place. Dustbins have been placed at short distances. Fire tenders, ambulances and swimmers teams are ever ready to deal with any emergency.
