Governor distributes ambulances to district units on Red Cross day

guv9.5.16Bhopal, May 8, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):   Governor Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav handed over keys of ambulances made available for its district units by Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Society at Raj Bhavan here today. The Governor offered flowers before a photograph of Founder of Red Cross Sir Henry Dunant. Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Society and Principal Secretary to Governor Mr. Ajay Tirkey informed that ambulances are being provided to 7 District Red Cross Societies including Rewa, Tikamgarh, Indore, Sidhi, Harda, Hoshangabad and Singrauli. With this, Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Society has distributed 132 ambulances to its district units so far. The Governor felicitated social worker of Sidhi district Mrs. Manju Singh for outstanding social work with certificate and memento.  Harda Collector Mr. Shrikant Bhanot, Singrauli Collector Mr. Shashank Mishra, General Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Society Mr. Rajiv Nayan Tiwari, office-bearers of District Red Cross Societies and Raj Bhavan’s officers and employees were also present on the occasion.
